How to Make Money Quickly and Legally

Make money quickly by selling products or services. Armed with the right sources and direction, making money is easy. You can sell items that other people are no longer using to make some cash. Or you can offer a service that requires little or no initial investment or use your knowledge to make money.

Provide a Service

 1.Make money teaching a class in an area you specialize in. Do you cook, paint, or have woodworking skills? Offer a cooking, painting or woodworking class at a local college or in a community building. Place an advertisement in the local newspaper. You can charge $10 to $45 per student per class. 

 

2.Start a small service to make some quick money. Consider a carpet cleaning business. Residential homes need deep carpet cleaning at least a couple of times a year. Market your skill to property management companies and apartment owners. They usually pay on the spot when the job is completed. Simply rent the carpet cleaner at a local supermarket or hardware store and you're in business. Offer comparable rates; contact other local carpet cleaning businesses and see what they are charging.

3.Sell a service to businesses. Almost every business has windows; offer to wash their windows. Another option: wash and clean vehicles at automobile dealerships. You could also clean floors at local supermarkets, renting the equipment you would use at a local hardware store. Be sure to request payment at the time you provide the service.

4.Sell scrap metal. Metals such as steel, aluminum iron, brass, and tin are worth money. Contact sources such as local plumbers, roofers, and building contractors; ask if they need removal of their metal waste. Place a small ad with your local newspaper in the "services" section, listing that you recycle scrap metals. Contact all local scrap metal processors and find out who is paying more per ton. Load the scrap metal in your truck, take the metal to the processors and get paid.

             

5.Visit flea markets. Buy discounted items below retail prices and resell them online at such places as craigslist.com or amazon.com. Buy collectibles such as stamps or coins and resell them at stampwants.com.

             

6.Sell free stuff. Go to craigslist.com and visit your local free section. Pick up anything for free that you think you can resell. Many times people simply want to get rid of things they are no longer using. Find free things such as tables, chairs, spas, and televisions.

             

7.Grow a garden. Sell your vegetables and herbs at a local farmers market to make some extra cash every week during your growing season. You could also park your vehicle carrying your produce on an empty lot near a busy road and make a sign advertising your fruits and vegetables for additional sales opportunities.

             

8.If you possess items you no longer need or want, sell them. Either hold a yard sale or take them to a local pawnshop. DVDs, CDs, video games, electronics, firearms and jewelry are some of the things you could sell.
